Book a studio!Shelby’s work primarily focuses on rock and pop production, with a keen interest in progressive rock, metal, and synth-pop. She has collaborated with high-profile clients such as Placebo and Adam Anderson of Hurts, and has contributed to corporate recording and post-production projects for prominent names including the BBC, Aardman Animations, Sky, Anvil Games, and others.
Growing up in the world of classical music playing Piano and French Horn to high standards in various orchestral settings, she later moved on to the world of guitars, bass, and synths. From orchestral scoring to heavy metal riffs and synthesis, she has a wide area of writing styles and knowledge. She's also a professional photographer, and can be available for media creation on site.
Always ready to lend a hand, Dante shares his loving touch in the day to day runnings of Sensible Music. Looking after clients, performing any odd jobs that crop up, and keeping the place spick and span for any unexpected visitors.
Rose is always running around the studio, ready to help all the sessions run smoothly across our studios, and behind the scenes.
Coming from a background in portrait photography, Andrew pivoted his career into restoration of churches. One thing led to another, and he is now regularly at Sensible Music having successfully brought the establishment back to life fitting new kitchens, carpets, licks of paint, doors, roof repairs, locks, you name it.
Claude Vause, is a freelance audio engineer from New Zealand, now based in London. Refining his craft over five years at Sleeper Sounds. He’s built an impressive credit list including Sam Fender, The 1975 and Beabadoobee. Claude brings a rare blend of technical finesse, a friendly, collaborative spirit, and a passion fuelled by curiosity and creativity.
Will Flowers has a long history working in Studio 4 at Sensible as a former member of staff. He knows the room inside out, and is available freelance as an in house live mixing engineer, or an engineer at your live shows.
Primarily known as a session drummer specialising in progressive metal, Mike Malyan also works as an educator, musicians social media specialist & composer / performer. He has been a member of the bands Monuments, Disperse & has featured playing with bands such as Periphery, TesseracT and Plini.
Mastering Engineer Toby Campen works out of his studio based in Brighton. Credits include The Endearing, Heron, Frances Murray, Cloud Studies and The Gulls, with work aired on BBC Radio 1, Radio X, Kerrang and 6 Music. Apple Digital Masters, vinyl and cassette sides, and DDP files for CD duplication available.
