Studio A
The Main recording studio at Sensible consists of a control room and two booths making a total space of apx.500sq ft, and also has 56 direct tie lines linked to Studio 4 (Multimedia/Live Room - apx.1000sq ft). Perfect for Orchestral sessions.
Redesigned by Chris Walls of Level Acoustic Designs and implemented by Justin Spier of Studio Creations, an SSL Delta AWS948 sits at the heart of the room. The control room was specifically designed to house the behemoth PMC BB5XBD's which are soffit mounted into the back wall, providing you with a world-class monitoring set up that never disappoints.
To the left of the control room, sliding glass doors give access to the main booth, a fantastic room for drums, vocals and all types of instruments and performance. The booth has floating gobos that can be spun around to reveal a harder surface to provide a brighter and more lively tones.
An additional booth, which used to be our “tape” room, can now be used as a re-amping and a second performance room, or even as a separate suite for programming or writing. This room also has an upright Piano.
Sensible has a vast array of vintage to modern outboard hardware, microphones and backline. We also have a large selection of Guitars, Drums, Keyboards, Synths, Percussion and much more.
