“What on earth is this?” – well at some point Yamaha decided to create an electric guitar that has no real strings, or frets. This thing is possibly closer to an omnichord than a guitar – but has its place in our collection as a real “plink plonker” when driven by midi.

With 20 preset sounds that have absolutely no adjustments available whatsoever, the Yamaha EZ-AG likely has the most limited use of anything we have on site. Why is it in the studio? To be honest, we’re not entirely sure…
